报告人简介：Patrick Solé教授是国际著名的代数编码与密码学顶级专家，在国际著名期刊《IEEE Transaction Information Theory》、《Design, Codes and Cryptography》、《Finite Fields ans Their Applications》《Journal of Combinatorial Theory Series B》、《Bulletin of the American Mathematical Society》等发表140余篇专业学术论文，在国际学术会议上发表论文70余篇，出版专著 2本。1995年Patrick Solé与其合作者获得信息论方面的最佳论文奖,该论文[R. Hammons, P. V. Kumar,A. R. Calderbank, N. J. A Sloane,P. Solé,The Z4-linearity of Kerdock, Preparata, Goethals, and related codes, IEEE Trans. Inform. Theory, 1994, 40(2): 301-319.]已经被引用了1100余次，这篇论文开辟了有限环上的代数编码理论的先河。连续获得了2015年和2016年度“国家外专局文教类高端外国专家项目”。

报告简介：Recent results on cyclic Z4-codes in non-primitive lengths, their algebraic decoding, the attached quaternary sequences, and bent Boolean functions with Z4-range are surveyed. This is joint work with Adel Alahmadi, Tor Helleseth, Lin Sok, MinJia Shi.
